Adam Jay Moskowitz

Your host Adam comes from three generations of cheese importing, turning family tradition into a passion for connecting people with incredible cheese. He runs Larkin Cold Storage, a logistics hub for some of the world's finest cheeses, and Columbia Cheese, where he sources exceptional European cheeses under his "Maker to Monger" philosophy—bringing the stories of small producers directly to American cheese counters.

Outside of “A Cheese Course”, Adam's proudest creation is The Cheesemonger Invitational, an event that combines education, friendly competition, and celebration of artisan cheese. It's become a cornerstone gathering for cheese professionals nationwide. He's shared his expertise on shows like Chopped and Dr. Oz, been featured in the Wall Street Journal and NY Times, and regularly appears on Epicurious. His mission is simple: make great cheese accessible to everyone.

Tommy Amorim [Right]

Tommy's cheese journey began 16 years ago at Di Bruno Bros in Philadelphia's Italian Market, following in the footsteps of his grandfather Giuseppe, who worked behind the same counter for 62 years. Giuseppe taught Tommy that this work was more than a job - it was about finding, learning about, and sharing amazing products from dedicated producers.

In 2021, Tommy won The Cheesemonger Invitational and continues working with the production team to make the event a key part of cheesemonger development. At Di Bruno Bros, he works across marketing, merchandising, and operations while serving as the connection between departments and the cheese counter team. He leads training for employees and educational classes for customers, carrying on his grandfather's tradition of celebration and service.
